Andiamo, let's go!
Unexpectedly we were back in the Netherlands for a while last weeks, but Saturday morning at half past seven we left Zeeland on our way home. Italy.
Let's go, let's move on. And we're looking forward to it! Saturday, June 6. After a period of activities in the Netherlands we drove in 15 hours from Zeeland to Belgium, again the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and so Cortona, Italy, without any border control. At home.
We are so happy to be home again, what a wonderful place, and what a lovely people, also here!
Nature is so overwhelmingly beautiful, everything blooms, sprouts and is intense in colour and smell.
What's it like in Italy now? We hear this question a lot.
Here in Tuscany, a peasant region, it's really super relaxed. Everyone is relaxed and satisfied. There were almost no Corona cases here, five in the whole municipality to be precise. A completely different reality than the media reports led us to believe. The whole of Italy seemed just as badly affected. A completely different picture than the reality.
We look confidently at the holiday season that lies ahead of us. The terraces are open, the bars serve delicious coffee and eating out is also back to normal. Our Agriturismo is located in the hills, is small-scale and yet close to the liveliness that makes Italy so much fun.
The best of both worlds. We are happy with that, thankful for that and we are happy to share this with you next season!
Because the bookings have been stopped and because of a few cancellations of people who found it difficult to make reservations, we still have space this summer.
